Accenting with Acrylic Paints
We coat the canvases. Tej coating contains an ultra violet inhibitor.varnis, which provides a protective coating to the canvas. The varnish coating allows the aritst to add accenting or overpainting to the art. A number of artists use Luiqitex brand because the gloss sheen of the paint matches the surface. If the the paint sheen matches, this will save you having to recoat the canvas.

Golden Medium Gloss Gel
This is used to create a brush stroke affect on the canvas. It must be applied after a sealer coat has been applied to the canvas. Care must be used not to grind the brush into the canvas surface, or you will break the sealing coat. The solvent based sealer must be thoroughly dried and cured before application.

Metallic on paper
There are two ways to add metallic to paper. The first way is to mix metallic power with a varnish. The second way is to dust powder over an application of Elmer’s glue. Care must be taken not to breathe the powder. Metallic power may be purchased at most art stores.
